DIAS has 8 IASO’s, each are dedicated to a particular region of Devon.
Depending on where you live, your initial enquiry will be passed on to one of these officers and they will then get in touch with you to find out more. This may be done via email, phone or face to face.
All DIAS Officers undergo SEND legal training run by the national Information Advice and Support Service so they are able to provide legally based information, advice and support, to ensure that parents and carers’ views are heard and understood and that they understand their rights, roles and responsibilities.
All Officers attend regular Continuing Professional Development training (CPD) and are fully DBS checked
There are eight IASOs in total, each of whom works in a different area of Devon. The team is headed up by Information, Advice and Support Liaison Officer and Service Manager Sue Brealey.
